Separation drum Type A 357 to Type 3512 B

Sloughing drum

The sloughing drum is used to slough off injection-moulded pieces that are still attached to sprue and then to separate these from one another. The drum is driven by a motor with a reverse switch, with which the turning direction of the drum is constantly altered. The times for right and left runs of the cage are adjustable. A constant turn direction is available as a second operating mode.

Advantages

  • Height and tilt of the drum simply and infinitely adjustable
  • High-quality, high-performance and high-torque planetary gear motors for constant or infinitely adjustable drum speeds
  • Rollers in the drum cage made of plastic, steel, stainless steel or aluminium
  • Except for the plastic rollers, all rollers are available in foam-coated versions for noise reduction
  • Swivel intake slide with cushioning polyamide coating
  • Covering and function panels made of anodized aluminium or galvanized steel (V2A on request)
  • The drum cages are easily interchangeable
Stable double-column base with four locking wheels
