Stable - flexible - low maintenance
The straight Multi-Tech Belt Conveyors of type GL are versatile. Depending on the combination of lateral side profiles, outer belt cover materials and versions, drive units, underframes and add-on parts can be used for diverse applications.
Regardless whether they are used as delivery belt set up horizontally, as steeply standing batching belt conveyor, in clean-rooms or in the metal-cutting processing - Multi-Tech belt conveyors will be designed and manufactured in accordance with the order and application and therefore, offer the perfect solution for various applications and concepts.
Underframe model HE 020 for smaller and medium-sized conveyor belts of up to approx. 2,000mm long and 500mm wide.
Longer and wider conveyor belts are often equipped with an underframe type HM 010.
Steeply conveying bunker conveyors are used for the batched feeding of parts to subsequent processes. The often very large attachment hoppers require a safe standing. This is ensured by the underframe type LD 070 with closed transport frame.
For long and wide belts the underframe HM 140 is the cost-effective alternative to the type HM 010. In this case, the supports are attached laterally on the belt conveyor.
Belt conveyors with a width of up to approx. 500 mm and a length of approx. 2,000 mm are equipped with an underframe HE 010 in cases where the underframe supports should neither protrude laterally nor upwards, or if extreme belt inclines of up to 90° are required.
Very easy height and incline adjustment of the conveyor belt using only one hand - this is the strength of the base frame type IE 010. The integrated gas pressure column with ball guide enables a comfortable adjustment of the loading or filling heights and discharge heights to different applications.
Stability is the key benefit of the underframe LD 120. The closed base frame is predestined to be a holding fixture of belt conveyors with medium belt measurements and high belt loads. It is also often used in connection with metal detection facilities in order to avoid vibrations.
"AM" stands for "support, multiple" - this underframe can also be described in that simple way. The individual, telescopic supports of the underframe model AM 010 are individually height-adjustable. They are fastened to the lower conveyor groove and thus, do not protrude laterally. Additional struts will provide stability for higher belt loads.
The underframe is of particular benefit in AM 140 contorted machine pits. Each single support is adjustable in height and incline and thus, adjusts to the most different floor conditions.
For horizontal conveying near the floor e.g. for application as buffer conveyor belt for cases and containers next to a production machine, the underframe EM 010 is often the right choice. The individual supports along the belt body can be moved individually and facilitate a conveyor height between 225 and 360mm from the floor until upper belt edge.
Permanently installed discharging conveyor belts for machines or box/case deposits, in stationary are usually equipped with the underframe EM 230. It facilitates minimum conveyor heights from approx. 120mm from the floor to the upper edge of the belt.
Belt conveyors that are mounted in parallel to the production machine, and that are not frequently adjusted in the height, can be optimally equipped with the underframe IE 020. The one-sided attachment/suspension to the lateral guide profile makes it possible to place the conveyor belt directly at the production machine and thus, to save much space.
The MTF Multi-Tech angled belt conveyors are probably unique on the market with regard to processing quality and functionality.
The patented belt tensioning mechanism ensures that the belt tension remains constant and balanced over the entire angle adjustment range between 0° and 60°. The combination of the high-quality materials for outer belts covers effectively prevents the belt from forming a bump in the belt bend and thus, from wearing out.
The MTF angled belts therefore do not need a forcible belt guide and control. This reduces wear and downforce.
Stable bend covers, chain protection parts and protection parts for belt rotation made of aluminium make these belt conveyors extremely resistant and reliable assistants in your production.
The bestseller among the angled belt conveyors - the underframe TF 110 has a continuous frame with integrated gas pressure spring for a very easy angle adjustment. The wheels can be moved along the entire underframe and adjusted individually in the height.
Angled belts with longer steep belt part, high belt load and heavy attachment parts, such as channel/tunnel metal detectors, are often equipped with the underframe type LD 120. The closed, welded base frame with the stable aluminium profiles forms a perfect unit and always provides safe standing.
Angled belt conveyors where the flat belt part is freely hanging and inserted in a machine pit often have an underframe of type HE 020 . The H-shaped base stand provides stability and a large height adjustment range.
Especially with frequently changing operating conditions (e.g. use on several machines) the underframe, type IE 010 can reach its full potential. The gas pressure column with ball bearing guide enables a very easy height and incline adjustment.
Two gas pressure springs in the underframe type HF 310 enable a comfortable angle adjustment - even with larger belt conveyors - carried out by a person. The continuous underframe provides stability and easy handling and manoeuvrability.
Angled belt conveyors with long flat belt part are equipped with the underframe HB 310 if lowest feeding heights are to be realised. The flat belt thereby hangs in the underframe and thus, can be lowered to the floor. The angle adjustment of the steep belt is easily possible through two integrated gas pressure springs.
Conveying out of the machine at a lowest possible height into small containers - this is the application of the underframe type KB 010. The flat belt thereby hangs in the underframe while the steep belt part freely overhangs forwards.
Angled conveyors with short steep belt part are often used as small discharging belts from machines. The underframe KF 010 is the right choice if the material delivery/feed takes place at a little higher position.
Angled belts in L-shape are equipped with the underframe LD 020, if the flat belt part is to be lowered until the floor and at the same time, only very few underframe parts may protrude on the sides.
For L-belt conveyors installed in water tanks the underframe, type HE 040 is often used. It has a compact design and supports the steep belt part without taking much space in the narrow water tank.
Conveyor with positive angle are used in many industries and for the most different applications. They often serve as feeding belt for assembly or automation processes or for the feeding into grinders.
In connection with an attachment hopper or a bunker conveyor belt connected upstream they can also take on the function as a batching belt conveyor and feed or deliver parts in batches to the subsequent process.
The angle is continuously adjustable to any angle between 0° and 60° whereby the belt tension remains constant over the entire adjustment range.
Belt conveyors with positive angle of medium size are often equipped with an underframe type LD 020. It always ensures a safe standing and provides high flexibility with regard to height and incline adjustment. For longer overhanging flat belts additional supports can be mounted.
The underframe LD 120 has supports that are laterally attached to the belt conveyor and it therefore offers a large height adjustment range. The stable aluminium profiles in connection with the welded steel underframe always provide stability even with larger conveyor belts.
Apart from the many standard underframe models, there are also the special underframe versions, of course. These are used if special dimensions, applications and conceptual formulations must be represented.
The MTF Z-Belt Conveyors provide a standard continuous angle adjustment of both belt bends from 0° to 60°. Thanks to the patented belt tensioning mechanism the belt cover tension remains constant over the entire adjustment range.
The sophisticated construction of inner and outer profiles sets standards with regard to easy service and maintainability. This way, e.g. the inner frame including all rollers and guides remains untouched during a belt replacement.
Infinite combination options with regard to dimensions, belt materials, drive units, underframes and attachment elements allow these belt conveyors to be used universally.
Z-belt conveyors that are used e.g. for the filling of larger containers and cases (lattice boxes, cartons, Octabins etc.), mostly have an underframe of type HF 310. It has a fixed frame which is mounted to the lower flat belt part. Here, two gas pressure springs in telescopic supports are attached, which enable a nearly force-free angle adjustment.
For Z-belt conveyors, which e.g. have to convey at very steep levels due to lack of space, the underframe type LD 010 is suitable. The height adjustment is possible via telescopic supports which are mounted in the lower groove of the conveyor belt profiles by means of supports rotatable by +/-90°.
Z-belt conveyors are equipped with an underframe of type HF 340, if the feeding area is located higher and the conveying angle is to be changed frequently.
Long conveyor belts must be supported at several points in order to ensure the required stability. For this purpose, the underframe HM 140 is particularly suited. The individual supports can be fastened in the lateral grooves over the entire belt length.
The underframe, type LD 120 is suitable for Z-conveyor belts with longer steep belt parts, high load and heavy attachment parts, such as tunnel metal detectors. The closed, welded underframe forms a unit with the supports and the belt body and provides stability.
