This reject chute serves to direct parts into three separate delivery shafts of of an injection moulding machine type Ferromatik MAXIMA 200. The product pieces fall centrally downwards onto a conveyor which directs the parts alongside, below the clamp unit, out of the machine shaft.
The sprues are discharged to the non-operating side onto an angled conveyor, which transports them directly into a mill.
With regard to QA-check, some parts are directed towards the operating side in a separate box.
The parts are directed by means of two independently working pneumatic cylinders which receive compressed air via two-way controlled pneumatic valves. The stop positions of the cylinders are read via reed contacts.
