MTF Technik's distribution tippers are pneumatically or electrically operated chutes that can be tilted in two directions, thus distributing conveyed material to two discharge points. Material is fed in above the pivot point. The tippers can be supplied either as a separate unit on its own base or as an attachment for conveyor belts or separators.

Distribution tippers are used where only two discharge points need to be alternately supplied with material. These can be any two containers to create a buffer. Especially with small conveyed materials and long filling times for a container, this can create a high degree of self-sufficiency and increase production efficiency. The rocker arms can also be used to distribute the conveyed flow within a container, for example, to prevent spillage cones and achieve a more homogeneous distribution. Due to their simple design, the minimum requirements for a control system are also low. In the simplest case, a 24V signal is sufficient to switch a spring-loaded valve and thus change the rocker arm's position. This signal can often be generated by existing production machines, so no separate control system is necessary. Depending on customer requirements, additional sensors, such as end position sensors, container presence sensors, or level sensors, can of course be integrated. In this case, a dedicated PLC controller is usually designed. This also allows for the implementation of further functions, such as the visual or acoustic indication of operating states via displays, signal lights, or acoustic detectors. Two-position distributor rocker switches from MTF Technik thus provide an easy-to-use, reliable, space-saving, and low-maintenance solution for filling two containers and implementing a small buffer system. As a special feature, MTF Technik also offers distributor switches that can assume two or even three positions. These switches are similar in function to the rocker switches but are integrated into a closed housing.

The distributor rocker arms from MTF Technik are versatile and compact systems for the alternating filling of two containers with bulk material.

Designed as 2-position rocker arms, the systems can be used both as attachments directly at the conveyor belt outlet, e.g.

can be integrated into encapsulated Z-conveyor belts, as well as being available as a stand-alone unit with its own base.

The implementation depends on the requirements of the application as well as the available control and interface options.

The systems are complemented by individually designed mounting brackets, suitable for MTF conveyor belts or also third-party products.
