MTF Technik's distribution rockers are pneumatically or electric-driven chutes that can be tilted in two directions, thus distributing material to two discharge points. The material is fed in above the pivot point. The rockers can be supplied either as a separate device on their own base frame or as an attachment to conveyor belts or separating devices.

The distribution rockers are used where only two discharge points need to be alternately supplied with material. These can be any two containers to create a buffer. Especially with small quantities of material being conveyed and long filling times for a container, this can create a high degree of self-sufficiency and increase production efficiency.

The rockers can also be used to distribute the conveying flow within a container, e.g., to prevent cones of material and achieve a more homogeneous distribution.

Due to the simple design, the minimum requirements for a control system are also low. In the simplest case, a 24V signal is sufficient to switch a spring-returned valve and thus change the position of the rocker. This signal can often be generated by existing production machines, eliminating the need for a separate control system.

Depending on customer requirements, additional sensors, such as limit position sensors, container presence sensors, or fill level sensors, can of course be integrated. In this case, a separate PLC control system is usually designed. This allows for additional functions, such as the visual or acoustic indication of operating states via displays, signal lights, or acoustic alarms.

2-position distributor rockers from MTF Technik thus provide an easy-to-use, reliable, space-saving, and low-maintenance solution for filling two containers and implementing a small buffer system.

As a special feature, MTF Technik also offers distributor switches that can assume two or three positions. These switches are similar to rockers in their function, but are integrated into a closed housing.
