Task: Precise buffering of plugs on a conveyor belt

Plastic connector housings are fitted with contact pins in an assembly machine and are to be transferred to a conveyor belt by a robot

The plugs should be buffered in two tracks, the contact pins must hang freely downwards

The contact pins must not have any contact points with the conveyor belt to avoid damage

Only a very small contact surface is available on one side of the connectors, the positioning accuracy of the robot is correspondingly high - the belt guide must be correspondingly precise

The plugs should be accumulated at the end of the belt, the belt surface must be suitable for accumulation operation

Solution: Special accumulation conveyor belt with three tracks

A horizontal GL-HE 010 conveyor belt with three belts results in 2 tracks

Special frame construction of the accumulation conveyor belt to allow the contact pins to hang freely downwards

MTF tread No. 10, white, with antistatic properties and a slightly rough surface, suitable for accumulation operations

Running covers with forced guidance to ensure precise belt running

Belt removal on specially milled plastic guide rails

Dust barrier at the belt outlet, mounted above the running surface
