Plastic plug-housings are completed with metal contact pins in an assembly machine and should be transferred on a conveyor system by means of a robot
The plugs should be buffered in two lanes with the contact pins hanging free
There must not be any point of contact between the pins and the conveyor body in order to prevent damages
There is only very little supporting area on the plugs, so the robot has to place the parts very exakt on the conveyor. The belt guiding also has to be very accurate.
The plugs have to be accumulated at the conveyor outlet so the belt surface needs to be suitable for this task
A horizontal conveyor type GL-HE 010 with three belts (two lanes for plugs)
Special frame design in order to allow a free slack of the plugs
MTF belt no. 10, colour white, with antistatic properties and slightly rough surface, to be used for accumulation tasks
