The positively angled Multi-Tech PMF magnetic conveyor belts are individually adapted to the customer's specific application. Five different conveyor angles between 30° and 90° are available. This makes these conveyor belts ideal for transporting magnetic parts vertically upwards in the most space-saving way possible.

PMF magnetic conveyors are used as feeder conveyors for automated assembly machines or similar systems where magnetic materials need to be transported. Magnetic conveyor belts are particularly advantageous when the material being conveyed is pointed and has sharp edges, as there is no relative movement between the belt and the side guide, where parts could become jammed in a gap.

The belt body consists of an aluminum profile system. The sturdy profiles each have a groove on the side and below the conveyor belt, which can be used for attaching base frames, drive units, sensors, and other attachments. This avoids complex drilling or welding work and ensures maximum flexibility.

Plastic slide rails are integrated into the belt body of the PMF type magnetic conveyor belts, in which two revolving chains are guided. Magnetic carrier strips are mounted at regular intervals on these chains, which run beneath a stainless steel slide plate integrated into the belt body. Ferritic material lying on the slide plate is attracted by the magnetic force and pulled along accordingly. Strong neodymium magnets ensure high holding force and good part grip.

The slide plates are designed with a smooth or textured surface, depending on the customer's specific requirements. Especially with oily parts, the structure ensures that adhesion is avoided and the parts are transported safely. If necessary, additional wear plates are installed in the feed area of ​​the conveyed material.

Spring tensioners are integrated into the conveyor belt design of the PMF type magnetic conveyor belts to keep the chains under sufficient tension at all times, thus reducing adjustment and maintenance effort. The belt body is completely encapsulated, so there are no moving parts on the outside. This ensures the highest level of occupational safety.

Multi-Tech magnetic conveyor belts are equipped with powerful three-phase motors, which are adapted to the respective conveying task with different motor powers, gear ratios, and controls.

Magnetic conveyor belts without a base frame are usually integrated directly into the customer's machine frames. There, they are used to transport chips, stamped parts, die-cast parts, etc.
