The Z-shaped angled Multi-Tech magnetic conveyor belts type ZMF-LD 120 are individually adapted to the specific requirements of each customer. Five different conveying angles between 30° and 90° are available. This makes these conveyor belts ideal for transporting magnetic parts steeply upwards in a space-saving manner.
Medium-sized Z-shaped angled magnetic conveyor belts with total lengths up to approximately 3,000 mm are often equipped with a type LD 120 base frame. It consists of a welded base frame on which two vertical and two rotatable aluminum profiles are mounted, serving as supports for the conveyor belt. The profiles are attached to the belt frame via pivot points in the lateral grooves. This underframe design offers excellent stability and allows for the use of even heavier magnetic conveyor belts or additional attachments. The lower flat belt section typically hangs freely and can therefore be lowered to floor level or inserted into machine shafts while suspended. Longer flat belts are intercepted by additional belt supports. Magnetic conveyors of this design are often used as machine discharge belts, as feed belts for material into downstream processes, or as linking belts between workstations. The belt body of the angled magnetic conveyor type ZMF-LD 120 consists of an aluminum profile system. The sturdy profiles each have a groove on the side and below the conveyor belt, which can be used for attaching subframes, drive units, sensors, and other components. This avoids costly drilling or welding work and ensures maximum flexibility. Plastic guide rails are integrated into the belt body, guiding two circulating chains. Magnetic carrier strips are mounted on these chains at regular intervals, running beneath a stainless steel slide plate integrated into the belt body. Ferritic material lying on the slide plate is attracted by the magnetic force and pulled along. Strong neodymium magnets ensure high holding power and efficient part transport. The slide plates are available with either a smooth or textured surface, depending on the application. Especially with slender parts, the structure ensures that adhesion is avoided and the parts are transported safely. If necessary, additional wear plates are mounted in the feed area of the conveyed goods. Spring tensioners are integrated into the conveyor belt construction to keep the chains under sufficient tension at all times, thus reducing adjustment and maintenance efforts. The belt body is completely encapsulated, so there are no external moving parts. This ensures maximum... on occupational safety.
The Multi-Tech magnetic conveyor belts of type ZMF-LD 120 are equipped with powerful three-phase motors, which are adapted to the respective conveying task with different motor outputs, gear ratios and controls.
