Furthermore, this two-part system offers the unbeatable advantage that the outer profiles can be folded down for maintenance purposes, for example, to access the conveyor. For example, belt changes can be carried out easily. The side profiles offer two grooves along the entire belt length, which can be used for attaching subframes, drives, or other components. The HM 140 subframe is used particularly for longer angle conveyor belts where a closed subframe is no longer practical due to the belt size or where different floor levels need to be compensated for (e.g., transport out of a pit). The individual uprights are attached in the side grooves and can thus be flexibly moved along the entire belt body. This also makes it possible to keep passageways under the conveyor belt clear.
