The MTF Multi-Tech angle conveyor belts, type NL-LD 020, are probably unique on the market in terms of manufacturing quality and functionality. With this belt conveyor, the unique belt tension compensation system developed by MTF Technik ensures that the belt tension remains constant across the entire angle adjustment range of the conveyor belt between 0° and 60°. In conjunction with the high-quality belt materials, this effectively prevents the belt from bulging at the bend and thus from wearing out.
The MTF Multi-Tech angle conveyor belts therefore generally do not require a belt guide. This reduces wear and abrasion. Sturdy aluminum hinge guards, chain guards, and belt circulation guards make these belt conveyors extremely robust and reliable helpers in your production. The L-shaped angled Multi-Tech belt conveyors, type NL-LD 020, are assembled using a comprehensive modular system and can thus be individually configured to meet the specific requirements of customer projects. The unique MTF profile technology combines a rigid inner frame with various stable outer profiles to allow for different lateral guide heights. Furthermore, this two-part system offers the unbeatable advantage that the outer profiles can be folded down for maintenance purposes, for example, to access the conveyor. For example, to be able to change the belt easily. The side profiles offer two grooves along the entire belt length, which can be used for attaching frames, drives, or other components. This guarantees the highest quality and flexibility. Angled conveyor belts with a long steep belt section and usually a rather short flat belt section are often equipped with a frame of type LD 020. In this case, the flat belt hangs freely. The closed base frame of the frame gives the belt conveyor a secure stand – even with wider belts and higher belt loads. With longer flat belts, this part either rests on the floor or additional supports are mounted – optionally stationary or mobile. Therefore, these angled belts are often used where low loading heights are required. Typical applications arise, for example, in the plastics industry, when the conveyor belt is to be positioned lengthwise next to the machine and the parts are fed onto the conveyor belt via a chute or quality control switch. These angled belts are also frequently used on packaging machines, in the stamping industry, as feeder belts in machine tools, or as feed belts, e.g., for granulate mills. A wide variety of conveyor belts made of different materials with different surface structures and properties are available from the MTF Technik standard range and can be mounted on these devices. Special belts can also be provided if required. The Multi-Tech angle conveyor belts type NL-LD 020 can be equipped with five different drive units, which, in combination with various gear reductions and controls, ensure optimal adaptation to the conveying task. Building on the basic equipment, a wide range of accessories and components can be added, e.g., metal detectors, fans, cooling systems, heaters, ionization devices, conveyor belt covers, sensors, chutes, separating attachments, etc.
