The Z-shaped angled conveyor belts of type ZL-IE 010 combine all the conveyor technology know-how gained from five decades of experience and countless projects. Both belt bends are independent of each other and each infinitely adjustable between 0° and 60°. A globally unique feature is that the belt tension remains constant across this entire adjustment range. This is achieved via mechanical sliders that precisely move the deflection pulley in the lower feed area.

In conjunction with the high-quality MTF conveyor belts, the belt tension compensation ensures that belt bulging is minimized and thus wear is prevented. A ZL-IE 010 conveyor belt can thus be converted into a straight conveyor belt in just a few seconds. This is achieved via mechanical sliders that precisely move the deflection roller in the lower feed area. The IE 010 base frame consists of a welded base frame with a vertically mounted, ball-bearing gas spring. This is designed to support the weight of the conveyor body and therefore allows for easy, tool-free height and tilt adjustment of the conveyor belt. The Z-shaped angle conveyor belts are assembled according to individual customer requirements based on a comprehensive modular system. This allows solutions to be offered for a wide variety of applications and tasks from diverse industries. The unique MTF profile technology combines a rigid inner frame with various stable outer profiles to enable different lateral guide heights. Furthermore, this two-part system offers the unbeatable advantage that the outer profiles can be folded down for maintenance purposes, allowing for easy belt replacement. The side profiles feature two grooves along the entire belt length, which can be used for attaching substructures, drives, or other components. This guarantees the highest quality and flexibility. As standard, the ZL-IE 010 Z-type conveyor belts are equipped with conically turned drive and idler pulleys. This ensures a self-centering effect of the conveyor belts, eliminating the need for mechanical guides. The belts have lateral clearance within the profiles. This reduces wear. and effectively reduces abrasion and increases the service life of the conveyor belts.

The ZL-IE 010 type Z-conveyor belts are therefore particularly suitable where frequent machine changes take place, resulting in different height situations on the input or output side. This is the case when used on different production machines or when using different containers on the output side. Due to its easy adjustability, this underframe is also suitable for situations where personnel and time are limited for relocation operations, such as during night shifts. A wide variety of conveyor belts made of different materials with varying surface textures and properties from the MTF Technik standard range are available and can be mounted on these devices. Additional special belts can be provided if required.
