The Z-shaped angled conveyor belts of type ZLF-LD 010 combine the entire conveyor technology know-how from five decades of experience and countless projects. Both belt bends are independently adjustable and continuously adjustable between 0° and 60°. A globally unique feature is that the belt tension remains constant across this entire adjustment range. This is achieved via mechanical sliders that precisely move the deflection roller in the lower feed area.
In conjunction with the high-quality MTF conveyor belts, the belt tension compensation ensures that belt buckling is minimized and thus wear is prevented. A Z-shaped conveyor belt can be converted into a straight conveyor belt in just a few seconds. This is achieved using mechanical sliders that precisely move the deflection roller in the lower feed area. When there is very little space available to transport parts vertically, Z-shaped conveyor belts with fixed bends of 75° are often used. To ensure stability even at such extreme conveyor angles, the LD 010 base frame is recommended in many cases. Of course, the base frame can also be used for standard Z-shaped conveyor belts with an angle adjustment range between 0° and 60°. The base frame is mounted in the lower grooves of the conveyor belt guide profiles. Depending on the application, additional longitudinal, diagonal, and transverse bracing can be used to ensure secure stability at all times. This is particularly important for larger conveyor belts.
Conveyors of the illustrated design are used in many different industries, such as the plastics industry, in the stamping and forming technology sector, for the supply and disposal of assembly machines or packaging systems, and for linking several consecutive processing steps. Depending on the task, the belts, cleats, drive unit, and base frame design are selected to achieve optimal conveying results. In steep conveyor belt applications, covers made of polycarbonate, but also aluminum, stainless steel, or similar materials are often used for steep conveyor angles to safely guide any falling parts. For sensitive parts, additional flexible covers can be installed in the steep belt area to completely prevent the parts from falling back.
A wide range of conveyor belts made of different materials with different surface structures and properties is available from the MTF Technik standard range and can be installed on these devices. If required, additional special belts can be provided.
The Multi-Tech angled conveyor belts type ZLF-LD 010 can be equipped with five different drive units, which, in combination with various gear reductions and controls, ensure optimal adaptation to the conveying task.
Building on the basic equipment, a wide range of accessories and equipment elements such as metal detectors, fans, cooling systems, heaters, ionization devices, conveyor belt covers, sensors, chutes, separation attachments, etc. can be added.
