The straight Multi-Tech hinged belt conveyors type GV-LD 120 are assembled from a comprehensive modular system and can thus be optimally adapted to the respective task. The conveyor belt frame consists of aluminum profiles specially developed by MTF Technik, which are optimized for the mounting of the hinge plates. A great deal of know-how goes into the details to ensure optimal functionality and stability. The sturdy profiles each have a groove on the side and below the conveyor belt, which can be used for attaching base frames, drive units, sensors, and other attachments. This avoids complex drilling or welding work and ensures maximum flexibility.

Multi-Tech GV-LD 120 hinged belt conveyors feature a stable base frame with a closed base, on which the supports made of anodized aluminum profiles are mounted. The conveyor body is attached to the supports in the side grooves using sturdy cast aluminum brackets. This enables easy height and inclination adjustment while maximizing the support length. This allows for a large height adjustment range.

The LD 120 type base frame is typically used for conveyor belts with a length of up to approximately 3,000 mm and a width of up to 1,000 mm.

In this version, the Multi-Tech hinged belt conveyors are often used as discharge conveyors from assembly cells or as storage conveyors for robots. In combination with collecting trays installed beneath the belt, these conveyor belts are also used as drip trays for liquid-wetted components. In addition, conveyor belts in this design also serve as heating or cooling sections. In this case, heating elements or fans/ventilators/air conditioning units can be used.

The belts can be equipped with various types of cleats to achieve optimal transport results. Spring tensioners are integrated into the side profiles to keep the hinged plate belt under sufficient tension at all times, thus reducing adjustment and maintenance effort.

Multi-Tech hinged plate conveyors are standardly equipped with powerful flange drives, which can be adapted to the respective conveying task with different motor powers, gear ratios, and controls.
