The straight Multi-Tech GV hinged belt conveyors are assembled from a comprehensive modular system and can thus be optimally adapted to the specific task.
The conveyor belt frame consists of aluminum profiles specially developed by MTF Technik, which are optimized for the mounting of the hinge plates. A great deal of know-how goes into the details to ensure optimal functionality and stability. The sturdy profiles each have a groove on the side and below the conveyor belt, which can be used for attaching base frames, drive units, sensors, and other attachments. This avoids complex drilling or welding work and ensures maximum flexibility.
The hinge plate straps have a pitch of 38.1 mm and are available in steel or stainless steel. The surface of the individual hinge plate elements is smooth as standard, but can also be dimpled, perforated, slotted, or dimpled and perforated depending on the application. For the best possible sealing of the conveyor belt, the belts are equipped as standard with a moving side edge that runs behind the side cover plates and ensures additional tightness.
The belts can be equipped with cleats in various designs to achieve optimal transport results.
Spring tensioners are integrated into the side profiles to keep the hinged plate belt under sufficient tension at all times, thus reducing adjustment and maintenance effort.
Multi-Tech hinged belt conveyors are equipped as standard with powerful flange drives, which can be adapted to the respective conveying task with different motor powers, gear ratios, and controls.
Hinged belt conveyors without a base frame are usually integrated directly into the customer's machine frames. They are used there, for example, to transport chips, stamped parts, die-cast parts, etc.
