The Z-shaped angled Multi-Tech hinged belt conveyors, type ZVF-LD 120, are assembled from a comprehensive modular system and can thus be optimally adapted to the specific task.

Medium-sized Z-shaped angled hinged belt conveyors with total lengths of up to approximately 3,000 mm are often equipped with a type LD 120 subframe. It consists of a welded base frame on which two vertical and two rotating aluminum profiles are mounted, which serve as supports for the conveyor belt. The profiles are attached with pivot points in the lateral grooves of the belt frame. This base frame design offers great stability and allows the installation of even heavier slatted belt conveyors or additional attachments.

The lower flat belt section generally hangs freely and can thus be lowered to floor level or inserted into machine shafts in a suspended position. Longer flat belts are supported by additional belt supports.

Steel hinged belt conveyors of this design are often used as machine discharge belts, as feed belts for material in subsequent processes, or as linking belts between workstations.

The conveyor belt frame consists of aluminum profiles specially developed by MTF Technik, which are optimized for accommodating the hinge plates. A great deal of expertise is incorporated into the details to ensure optimal functionality and stability. The sturdy profiles each have a groove on the side and below the conveyor belt, which can be used for attaching base frames, drive units, sensors, and other attachments. This avoids complex drilling or welding work and ensures maximum flexibility.

The conveyor angle is available at 30°, 45°, or 60°.

The hinged plate belts have a pitch of 38.1 mm and are available in steel or stainless steel. The surface of the individual hinge plate elements is smooth as standard, but can also be dimpled, perforated, slotted, or dimpled and perforated depending on the application. For the best possible sealing of the conveyor belt, the belts are equipped as standard with a moving side edge that runs behind the side cover plates and ensures additional tightness.

The belts can be equipped with cleats in various designs to achieve optimal transport results.

Spring tensioners are integrated into the side profiles to keep the hinged plate belt under sufficient tension at all times, thus reducing adjustment and maintenance effort.

The Multi-Tech ZVF-LD 120 hinged plate conveyors are equipped as standard with powerful flange drives, which can be adapted to the respective requirements with different motor powers, gear ratios, and controls. The funding task can be adapted.
