Conveyor belts with diverters from MTF Technik offer a streamlined distribution solution for products that need to be distributed to multiple dispensing points in a line. The conveyor belts are mounted above the containers to be filled or the points to be supplied. Pneumatically or electrically operated flaps ensure that the flow of material is diverted laterally from the conveyor belt and directed to the dispensing points via chutes or other transfer points. Once all discharge points are closed, the flow of parts continues to the end of the conveyor belt and is discharged there. The conveyor belt length and width, belt design, belt speed, and the type and number of discharge points are determined based on the specific requirements. The geometry of the conveyed goods and the conveying quantity per unit of time play a crucial role in defining the appropriate design. Virtually any number of discharge points can be defined along the conveyor belt. This buffer solution can be designed as a space-saving solution where containers are placed close together and the conveying equipment is mounted above them. However, this concept can also be used to supply larger containers or more widely spaced delivery points. Since the conveyed goods are transported to the delivery points and the load carriers are not constantly being moved around at a transfer point, the concept is very flexible when many different container types or sizes need to be filled.
