The negatively angled Multi-Tech magnetic conveyor belts type NMF-HM 010 are individually adapted to the specific requirements of each customer. Five different conveying angles between 30° and 90° are available. This makes these conveyor belts ideal for transporting magnetic parts steeply upwards in a space-saving manner.
In particular, larger L-shaped angled magnetic conveyor belts with a long, steep belt section can be equipped with an HM 010 base frame. The base frame consists of several H-shaped base frames made of a robust welded steel construction. Telescopic aluminum profiles are mounted on this, which are attached to the lower grooves of the conveyor body by means of a pivot point. This leaves the entire lateral groove of the conveyor available for easy attachment of components, etc. The lower flat belt section usually hangs freely and can thus be lowered to floor level or inserted into machine sheds while suspended. Longer flat belts are supported by additional belt braces. Magnetic conveyor belts of this design are often used as machine discharge belts, as material feed belts for downstream processes, or as linking belts between workstations. The belt body consists of an aluminum profile system. The sturdy profiles each have a groove on the side and underside of the conveyor belt, which can be used to attach subframes, drive units, sensors, and other components. This avoids costly drilling or welding work and ensures maximum flexibility. Integrated into the belt body are plastic guide rails in which two circulating chains are guided. Magnetic carrier strips are mounted at regular intervals on these chains, running along a stainless steel sliding plate integrated into the belt body. Ferritic material lying on the sliding plate is attracted by the magnetic force and pulled along. Strong neodymium magnets ensure high holding power and efficient part transport. The sliding plates are available with either a smooth or textured surface, depending on the application. The textured surface is particularly important for fibrous parts, preventing them from sticking and ensuring safe transport. Additional wear plates are installed in the conveying area as needed. Spring tensioners are integrated into the conveyor belt construction to keep the chains under sufficient tension at all times, thus reducing adjustment and maintenance efforts. The belt body is completely encapsulated, so there are no external moving parts. This ensures maximum occupational safety. The Multi-Tech magnetic conveyor belts type NMF-HM 010 are equipped with powerful three-phase motors, which are adapted to the specific conveying task with different motor outputs, gear ratios, and controls.
