The straight Multi-Tech belt conveyors of type GL-EM 230 are assembled based on a comprehensive modular system and can be individually configured to meet the specific requirements of customer projects.

The unique MTF profile technology combines a rigid inner frame with various stable outer profiles to allow for different lateral guide heights. Furthermore, this two-part system offers the unbeatable advantage that the outer profiles can be folded down for maintenance purposes, for example, to easily replace the belt. The side profiles feature two grooves along the entire belt length, which can be used for mounting substructures, drives, or other attachments. This guarantees the highest quality and flexibility. GL-EM 230 conveyor belts are used wherever transport is required at ground level, largely horizontally or with a slight incline or decline. This is often the case when buffering containers that are filled, for example, via a chute from a machine or via a small infeed conveyor. Such buffer belts are often installed along production machines (linear buffers for piece goods). These types of belt conveyors are also used for removing parts from low machine chutes. This can be the case, for example, in printing plants or in the paper industry during edge trimming, on die-cutting machines, or in the plastics industry. Depending on the specific task, these discharge conveyor belts are equipped with different belts, sometimes with special lateral sealing mechanisms, to ensure that even thin or pointed parts can be transported safely and without jamming. These can be, for example, flexible deflectors that rest on the belt. Alternatively, corrugated edges or longitudinal strips can be welded directly onto the running surfaces, forming a continuous seal. The individual substructure supports are mounted in the lower grooves of the conveyor belt guide profiles and can therefore be individually moved and adjusted in height along the entire belt length. This is particularly advantageous when uneven floors need to be compensated for. Thirty-three conveyor belts made of different materials with varying surface textures and properties from the MTF Technik standard range are available for mounting on these devices. Additional special belts can be provided if required.

The Multi-Tech GL-EM 230 belt conveyors can be equipped with five different drive units, which, in combination with various gear ratios and controls, ensure optimal adaptation to the conveying task.
