The Z-shaped angled Multi-Tech magnetic conveyor belts type ZMF-AM 140 are individually adapted to the specific requirements of each customer. Five different conveying angles between 30° and 90° are available. This makes these conveyor belts ideal for transporting magnetic parts steeply upwards in a space-saving manner.
Z-shaped angled magnetic conveyor belts of type ZMF-AM 140 are often used as discharge conveyors from low machine chutes. The flat belt section is typically very low, and the steep belt section is usually not very long. This often results in limited installation space, and obstructions in the machine bed frequently necessitate that the base frame supports be individually mountable on the conveyor belt and adjustable in height and angle. The belt body of the angled magnetic conveyor belt type ZMF-AM 140 consists of an aluminum profile system. The robust profiles each have a groove on the side and below the conveyor belt, which can be used to attach base frames, drive units, sensors, and other components. This avoids costly drilling or welding work and ensures maximum flexibility. Plastic guide rails are integrated into the belt body, guiding two circulating chains. Magnetic carrier strips are mounted on these chains at regular intervals, running beneath a stainless steel slide plate integrated into the belt body. Ferritic material lying on the slide plate is attracted by the magnetic force and pulled along. Strong neodymium magnets ensure high holding power and efficient part transport. The slide plates are available with either a smooth or textured surface, depending on the application. Especially with slender parts, the structure ensures that adhesion is avoided and the parts are transported safely. If necessary, additional wear plates are mounted in the feed area of the conveyed goods. Spring tensioners are integrated into the conveyor belt construction to keep the chains under sufficient tension at all times, thus reducing adjustment and maintenance efforts.
