The conveyor belt frame consists of aluminum profiles specially developed by MTF Technik, which are optimized for mounting the hinge plates. A great deal of expertise is evident in the details to guarantee optimal functionality and stability. The robust profiles each have a groove on the side and below the conveyor belt, which can be used for attaching substructures, drive units, sensors, and other components. This avoids costly drilling or welding work and ensures maximum flexibility. Large steel hinge plate conveyor belts are equipped with multiple subframes to ensure stability. The HM 010 subframe consists of welded H-shaped base frames with vertically mounted, telescopically extendable aluminum profiles. The subframe supports are mounted below the belt body. This minimizes the space requirement, and the lateral conveyor belt groove is available along the entire belt length for the attachment of additional components. In this version, the hinged belt conveyors are primarily used as storage belts for robots, as cooling sections for hot parts, or as drip trays for moist parts. Furthermore, the conveyor belt can be continuously adjusted in height and inclination. The belts can be equipped with drive lugs in various designs to achieve optimal transport results. Spring tensioners are integrated into the side profiles to keep the hinge plate belt under sufficient tension at all times, thus reducing adjustment and maintenance effort.
