The positively angled Multi-Tech hinge belt conveyors type PVF-AM 140 are assembled from a comprehensive modular system and can thus be individually and optimally adapted to the respective task.

The small steel hinge belt conveyors of type PVF-AM 140 are often used as transfer belts between two processing stations. They are also sometimes used for the gentle transport of components from a greater height to a lower level.

The aluminum base supports are individually attached in the lateral grooves of the conveyor frame. Each individual support is independently adjustable in position, height, and angle. This allows for bridging of uneven edges on existing production machines or compensating for different floor levels. The conveyor belt frame consists of specially developed aluminum profiles from MTF Technik, optimized for mounting the hinge plates. A great deal of expertise is evident in the details to ensure optimal functionality and stability. The robust profiles each have a groove on the side and below the conveyor belt, which can be used to attach substructures, drive units, sensors, and other components. This avoids costly drilling or welding work and ensures maximum flexibility. The feed angle of the PVF-AM 140 hinge belt conveyor is optionally 30°, 45°, 60°, or 75°. The PVF-AM 140 hinge plate belts have a pitch of 38.1 mm and are available in either steel or stainless steel. The surface of the individual hinge plate elements is smooth as standard, but can also be textured, perforated, slotted, or textured and perforated, depending on the application. For optimal sealing of the conveyor belt, the belts are equipped as standard with a moving side flange that runs behind the side cover plates and provides additional sealing. The belts can be fitted with drive lugs in various designs to achieve optimal conveying results. Spring tensioners are integrated into the side profiles to keep the hinge plate belt under sufficient tension at all times, thus reducing adjustment and maintenance requirements. The Multi-Tech PVF-AM 140 hinge belt conveyors are equipped as standard with powerful flange drives, which can be adapted to the specific application with different motor outputs, gear ratios, and controls. The support task will be adapted.
