The positively angled Multi-Tech hinge belt conveyors type PVF-HE 020 are assembled from a comprehensive modular system and can thus be optimally adapted to the specific application.

Small hinge belt conveyors can be equipped with the HE 020 base frame. This consists of an H-shaped welded base frame with vertically mounted aluminum profiles, which are attached to the belt body at pivot points on the sides.

The base frame is generally suitable for small conveyor belts with a total length of up to 2,000 mm and a maximum width of 500 mm. The flat belt section is short and hangs freely. The conveyor belt frame consists of specially developed aluminum profiles from MTF Technik, optimized for mounting the hinge plates. A great deal of expertise is evident in the details to ensure optimal functionality and stability. The robust profiles each have a groove on the side and below the conveyor belt, which can be used to attach substructures, drive units, sensors, and other components. This avoids costly drilling or welding work and ensures maximum flexibility. The feed angle of the PVF-HE 020 hinge belt conveyor is optionally 30°, 45°, 60°, or 75°. The PVF-HE 020 hinge plate belts have a pitch of 38.1 mm and are available in either steel or stainless steel. The surface of the individual hinge plate elements is smooth as standard, but can also be textured, perforated, slotted, or textured and perforated, depending on the application. For optimal sealing of the conveyor belt, the belts are equipped as standard with a moving side flange that runs behind the side cover plates and provides additional sealing. The belts can be fitted with drive lugs in various designs to achieve optimal conveying results. Spring tensioners are integrated into the side profiles to keep the hinge plate belt under sufficient tension at all times, thus reducing adjustment and maintenance requirements. The Multi-Tech PVF-HE 020 hinge belt conveyors are equipped as standard with powerful flange drives, which can be adapted to the specific application with different motor outputs, gear ratios, and controls. The conveying task can be adapted.

Hinged belt conveyors without a base are generally integrated directly into customer-supplied machine frames. There, they often serve as a discharge system for chips, stamped parts, die-cast parts, etc.
