The straight Multi-Tech hinge belt conveyors type GV-HM 140 are assembled from a comprehensive modular system and can thus be individually and optimally adapted to the respective application. The conveyor belt frame consists of aluminum profiles specially developed by MTF Technik, which are optimized for mounting the hinge plates. A great deal of expertise is evident in the details to guarantee optimal functionality and stability. The robust profiles each have a groove on the side and below the conveyor belt, which can be used for attaching substructures, drive units, sensors, and other components. This avoids costly drilling or welding work and ensures maximum flexibility. Large and heavy steel hinge plate conveyor belts are equipped with multiple base frames to ensure stability. The HM 140 base frame consists of welded H-shaped frames with vertically mounted aluminum profiles, which are attached laterally to the conveyor belt. In this configuration, the hinged belt conveyors are primarily used as storage belts for robots, as cooling sections for hot parts, or as drip trays for moist parts. The lateral base frame attachment allows for maximum height adjustment. The conveyor belt can be continuously adjusted in height and inclination. The belts can be equipped with various types of cleats to achieve optimal transport results. Spring tensioners are integrated into the side profiles to keep the hinge plate belt under sufficient tension at all times, thus reducing adjustment and maintenance effort. The Multi-Tech hinge belt conveyors are equipped as standard with powerful flange drives, which can be adapted to the specific conveying task with different motor outputs, gear ratios, and controls.
