The straight Multi-Tech conveyor belts with wire mesh belts type GS are assembled from a comprehensive modular system and can thus be optimally adapted to the specific task at hand.

In particular, a distinction is made between two different versions – with or without chain guidance of the belt. Depending on the task, it is determined which variant should be used. Belt load, part and ambient temperature, temperature fluctuations, conveying direction, etc., play a crucial role in selecting the right technology.

The robust Multi-Tech side profiles each have a groove on the side and below the conveyor belt, which can be used for attaching subframes, drive units, sensors, and other components. This avoids costly drilling or welding work and ensures maximum flexibility. Four different wire mesh belts are available from the MTF standard range – each in steel or stainless steel. They differ in wire thickness, surface structure, and weave structure. Flat wire belts offer an almost closed surface, while wide wire belts provide maximum open structures. For example, to allow wet components to drip dry or to enable ventilation/cooling.

Depending on the belt type and application, the wire mesh belts can also be additionally equipped with drive cleats. These are attached to the belt using screw connections.

Depending on the belt design, the Multi-Tech wire mesh belt conveyors can be equipped with up to five different drive units. In combination with various motor outputs, gear ratios, and controls, this ensures optimal adaptation to the conveying task.

Wire mesh conveyors without a base frame are generally integrated directly into customer-supplied machine frames.
