In addition to the purely informative use of our website, we offer various services that the user can use if interested. To do this, you must submit personal data, which we will use to render the selected service and to which the data processing principles described above will, of course, apply.

6.1 Contacting us

We offer you the opportunity via our website to contact us directly. If you contact us by email, telephone or using our contact form, the data shared by you (e.g. email address, name and telephone number) will be stored by us so that we can answer your query. We delete the data we collect for this purpose when it is no longer necessary to store and there are no statutory retention requirements.

6.2 Newsletter

We require your consent when you subscribe to our newsletter. The newsletter allows us, for example, to inform you about our interesting new products and events. This newsletter is usually sent three to four times per year.
We use the ‘double-opt-in process’ for the subscription. This means you will automatically receive an email to the email address you provided when you subscribed. In this email, we ask that you confirm your email address. We also store the confirmation log. The purpose of this process is to keep a traceable log of your subscription. The only piece of information that is required to subscribe to our newsletter is your email address. The submission of other data is voluntary and will be used to address you personally. After your confirmation , we will store your email address for the purpose of sending the newsletter. The legal basis for this is as per article 6 para 1 page 1 lit. a GDPR.
Please be advised that we will analyse your user behaviour when we send you our newsletter. For the purpose of this analysis, the emails we send contain ‘web beacons’ and tracking pixels, which are single-pixel image files that are stored on our website. For the analysis, the above listed data and the web beacons can be linked to your email address and an individual ID.
To send our newsletter, we use the list provider MailChimp, a service provided by The Rocket Science Group LLC, 512 Means Street, Ste 404 Atlanta, GA 30318. This company is a member of the Safe Harbor Agreement, a special data protection agreement between the European Union and the United States. The personal data, which you use , for example, when registering for the newsletter will be transferred to MailChimp and stored there. MailChimp offers comprehensive methods of analysis of how the newsletter is opened and used. Your data is stored as long as you are subscribed to the newsletter. After you unsubscribe, we store the data submitted for this purpose so that you no longer receive the newsletter from us.

7. Passing on data to third-party service providers

7.1. Use of social media icons

We have set up social media icons on our website. With a simple mouse click, you can reach Facebook, XING, LinkedIn and YouTube social media platforms. When you visit our website, no personal data whatsoever is passed on to the service providers. You can recognise the providers of these platforms by their logo. We offer you the opportunity to reach MTF Technik posts directly on their websites using the icon.
We neither have any influence on the data collected or the data processing procedures, nor are we aware of the full extent/scope of the data collection, purposes of processing and retention periods. We also have no information about the deletion of this data. We offer you the opportunity, by clicking on the icon, to receive information from MTF Technik on the platform you select. The legal basis for this use of data is article 6 para 1 page 1 lit. f GDPR. The operator is solely responsible for providing the relevant platform.

Furthermore, we have incorporated YouTube videos into our websites, which are stored on your channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCszk2Cg-hyHQdw37btTV9_w and can be played directly on our website. When you play the YouTube videos, it may be that cookies to your computer are transferred, so –called ‘server log files’. 7.3. Incorporation of Google Maps

We use Google Maps (by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irland) on this website. This allows us to display interactive maps directly on the website and enables you to use the map function easily.

This will occur regardless of whether Google provides a user account through which you have logged in or if you do not have an user account.
