Or in German language: Metallverarbeitung, Transportgeräte, Förderbänder - this was the company name already at foundation by Hans Gert Schürfeld in Bergneustadt (Germany) in 1975.
Today, MTF Technik is a second-generation owner-managed family business with more than 50 years of experience in the design, project planning and development of high-quality solutions in industrial conveyor technology – from conveyor belts and separation systems to buffer solutions.
Our customers come from a wide range of industries, including plastics, metal, pharmaceuticals, packaging, electrical and food, as well as logistics and mechanical engineering.
From the very beginning, innovation and inventiveness have been at the heart of our corporate philosophy, which is reflected in 13 patents. It has always been our maxim to develop new solutions for our customers' internal material flow tasks in order to increase their efficiency and productivity in production.
The applications are characterised by versatility, functionality and particularly high product quality. These features have made us the technology and quality leader in our core industries.
Focus on Sustainability and Service
The longevity of our products is not the only important aspect of our sustainability philosophy. We practise local sourcing – 97% of our purchasing volume comes from Germany and neighbouring countries. All products are developed, designed and manufactured in Bergneustadt. It goes without saying that we strive to minimise resource consumption in all our business activities.
We guarantee comprehensive service and high-quality advice in Germany through a nationwide field service with eight in-house consultants. Our team of eight designers ensures that all devices are optimally designed.
We maintain long-term partnerships with our customers. Almost two-thirds of our sales volume comes from customers who have been purchasing their conveyor technology from MTF Technik for at least 25 years. We also have long-standing relationships with most of our agents, suppliers and service providers.
A spirit of partnership is also a hallmark of our corporate culture. A family-like working atmosphere, flat hierarchies and team-oriented work are certainly one of the reasons why most of our employees have been with us for many years and are actively shaping the future of our company.
