Optimal use of space thanks to vertical transport
Space is a rare commodity in industrial plants. Every centimetre must be utilised to increase productivity. Against this backdrop, it is often desirable for material to be transported vertically upwards in order to waste as little space as possible.
MTF Technik has adapted to this and developed a wide range of solutions for conveying material as steeply as possible.
In metalworking and in the transport of ferritic materials, MTF Technik magnetic conveyor belts are particularly effective. Small parts, chips, punchings, etc. can often be conveyed vertically with magnetic conveyors – in special cases even head-free suspended.
For non-magnetic conveyed goods, depending on the part geometry, conveyor belts with a 90° angle can also be used. By appropriately designing the conveyor belt body, selecting the idler block geometry and other equipment features, extremely space-saving transport solutions can be implemented.
