MTF Technik offers separating systems that provide an efficient solution for separating sprue and good parts and for sorting parts of different sizes. Typical applications can be found in plastic injection moulding, in the field of die casting, in the stamping industry and wherever components of different sizes need to be sorted.
Depending on the product geometry and material, the required throughput capacity, space restrictions and separation strategy , different separation solutions can be used. MTF Technik offers a wide range of different separating drums, screw separatings or roller separatings and disc separatings for this purpose.
Screw separatings and roller or disc separatings are particularly suitable for batch separation directly on the production machine. They are space-saving and available as attachments to conveyor belts or as stand-alone units.
separating drums can also be used as central separation stations due to their typically higher throughput capacity , where material from several production machines is fed in batches via a feed conveyor belt. The drum separatings offer the additional advantage that they "stir up" the material more strongly, and this falling process in the drum cage also enables more complex separation tasks to be performed.
