The straight Multi-Tech belt conveyors of the GL-EM 120 type are assembled based on a comprehensive modular system and can be individually configured to meet the specific requirements of customer projects.
The unique MTF profile technology combines a rigid inner frame with various stable outer profiles to enable different lateral guide heights. Furthermore, this two-part system offers the unbeatable advantage that the outer profiles can be folded down for maintenance purposes, for example, to easily replace the belt. The side profiles offer two grooves along the entire belt length, which can be used for attaching base frames, drives, or other attachments. This guarantees the highest quality and flexibility.
GL-EM 120 belt conveyors are used at particularly low conveyor heights, e.g., near the ground or even at floor level. This type of belt conveyor is used, for example, for buffering containers that are filled, for example, via a chute from a machine or via a small feeder belt. Such buffer belts are often installed lengthwise along production machines (linear buffers for piece goods).
Belt conveyors of this type are also used for parts disposal from low machine shafts. This can be the case, for example, in printing plants or the paper industry for edge trimming, on die-cutting machines, or in the plastics industry.
Depending on the specific task, these discharge conveyor belts are equipped with different belts, sometimes with special lateral sealing mechanisms to ensure that even thin or sharp parts can be transported safely and without jamming. These can be, for example, flexible deflectors that rest on the conveyor belt. Alternatively, corrugated edges or longitudinal strips can be welded directly onto the conveyor belts, forming a continuous seal.
The individual underframe supports are mounted in the lower grooves of the conveyor belt guide profiles and can thus be individually moved along the entire length of the belt and adjusted in height. This is particularly advantageous when uneven floors need to be compensated for.
33 conveyor belts made of different materials with different surface structures and properties are available from the MTF Technik standard range and can be mounted on these devices. If required, additional special belts can be provided.
The Multi-Tech belt conveyors type GL-EM 120 can be equipped with five different drive units, which, in combination with various gear reductions and controls, ensure optimal adaptation to the conveying task.
