The MTF steel hinged plate conveyors are reliable workhorses in a rough environment. They are used in nearly every area of metalworking (stamped, pressed and forged parts, die-cast parts made from zinc or aluminium, crush pressure pieces like screws or rivets) or in the plastics industry for transporting very hot products.
Straight Steel Hinged Plate Conveyors
Straight Steel Hinged Plate Conveyor are versatile. They serve as chain transporters, as output belts for pressed pieces, as deposit belts for die-cast components or for transport of very hot or phthalate-containing plastic pieces.
Hinged plates of steel or stainless steel with a heat resistance up to 350°C, various surface configurations (smooth, studded, slotted, perforated), stable and flexible bases as well as a perfect appearance make these belts unique.
The grooves in the sides and underneath the belt profile offer a maximum of flexibility regarding the attachment of bases or additional features.
The hinged plates are equipped with a chain guide on both sides. Spring-loaded chain tensioners mounted in the belt body provide a maintenance-free operation.
Steel Hinged Plate Conveyors with Negative Angle
The angled conveyors with steel hinged plates are essential for transporting hot materials out of machine shafts, as this often happens, for example, in the die casting industry. Likewise they serve to transport strongly lubricant-containing pieces and chips that occur during machining.
The entire configuration, from length and width to the surface of the plates, is laid out to order by MTF Technik.
Fixed angles of 30°, 45°, 60° and 75° are offered as standard.
Steel Hinged Plate Conveyors with Positive Angle
Angled conveyors with steel hinged plates and positive belt bend are used, for example, for the measured filling of machines.
Especially with sharp-edged or heavy items, the hardened hinged plates are the right choice.
Z-Shaped Steel Hinged Plate Conveyors
Angled conveyors in Z-shape with steel hinged plates are especially useful in metalworking. They serve as chip conveyors, as output belts from machine shafts, etc.
The high temperature resistance as well as the robust construction make them essential in foundries, press plants, for screw finishing and many other areas of metalworking.
