Steep belt conveyor with tiltable deposit conveyor for transporting and depositing film packs

Task: Transport and unload foil packages

Cut aluminum foil packages weighing a maximum of 200 kg are to be transported from a foil cutting machine and tipped into a pallet rack.

Foil packages with a maximum length of 1,850 mm and a maximum diameter of 300 mm.

Cycle time approximately 1.5 minutes

Protective enclosure to be provided by the customer

Control system, motor protection, etc. to be provided on-site by the customer

Solution: Steep conveyor belt with tiltable discharge belts

An inclined GL conveyor belt with a transportable running surface transports the film packages upwards and transfers them to two parallel GL conveyor belts that can be pneumatically tilted.

At the end of the split conveyor section is a buffer beam including sensors that detect whether the foil packs have arrived at the end of the belt.

Once the film package has reached the end, the two GL conveyor belts swivel into a vertical position and the film package is placed into the provided pallet rack.
