Our FAKUMA Program
In addition to proven applications in material handling technology, we will also be presenting several new developments.
In the field of part separation, we will be showcasing the new Segment Separating Drum, which stands out for its exceptional flexibility. The robust stainless steel drum cage is equipped with segment plates custom-manufactured using Additive Manufacturing. This makes it possible to produce virtually any geometry cost-effectively and reliably handle even challenging separation tasks, such as separating molded parts from sprues. In addition, numerous separation systems are available for hands-on testing. Simply bring your sample parts and sprues with you and test them right on site.
With the Multi-Control system, we are introducing a universal and cost-effective standard control system for a wide variety of buffer systems. Using the user-friendly touchscreen display, containers can be switched either on a time-based or count-based schedule, significantly increasing the autonomy of production lines. At our booth, we’ll be demonstrating the control system in combination with a screw separator and a distribution rocker, which automatically distributes the flow between two containers.
In the section of Automation, you can also see a floor-level transfer buffer and the compact lift buffer station with an integrated load cell in action. Both systems are integrated into a complete demonstration setup featuring a 90° feed conveyor, separation, and automatic distribution, and demonstrate efficient material flows in a real-world setting. In addition, we are presenting a compact carousel storage station with a diameter of just 1,200 mm for buffering up to eight containers, each with a footprint of 400 × 300.
Last but not least, various demonstration conveyors - featuring different belt types, drive units, frames, and a wide range of accessories - show the exceptional versatility and configuration options available for your specific application.
