The AUA 202 carousel depot station is used for the efficient counting and buffering of parts in bags, pouches, boxes, or cartons.
It consists of a round turntable mounted on a stable ball bearing and driven from below by a friction wheel. Container holders are then fixed to the turntable, which rotate accordingly. The containers are filled at a fixed position, where they are provided by a timed rotation. The diameter, materials used, number and shape of the holders for the containers to be filled, and the control system are designed by MTF Technik to meet the specific requirements of each customer. This container changer is individually assembled based on standardized or already successfully implemented solutions. This allows for the following: For example, in cleanroom applications, turntables and frames made of stainless steel are used, while in applications for technical parts, the turntable can be made of wood and the base frame of powder-coated steel. Depending on the desired buffer capacity and the size of the containers, the diameter of the turntables can vary between approximately 800 mm and almost 2,000 mm. The container holders can be mounted directly on the turntable or at a predetermined working height – if necessary, also in several levels above each other to achieve the largest possible buffer capacity on a given footprint. The design of the fixtures in terms of form, material, and functionality can be customized to the highest degree. The control system is also individually designed at MTF Technik. From a simple counting control with a few basic functions to custom-designed and programmed PLC controls, almost anything is possible. Special interfaces to existing production or peripheral systems can be considered, as well as special operator terminals, display signals, safety architectures, or preferred control system manufacturers.
