The Multi-Control is a compact, standardised control system designed for various buffer stations, such as transfer buffers, distributor rocker systems, Multi-Linea recirculating storage systems, linear conveyor belts, and more.

It features two operating modes: count-based operation and time-based operation. In count-based operation, container changeover is triggered based on a predefined target quantity per container, combined with a production quantity per cycle and a corresponding potential-free counting pulse. Once the preset quantity has been reached, the container changeover is initiated automatically. In time-based operation, the changeover is triggered in the same way after a freely adjustable period of time has elapsed.

In addition to controlling the actual buffer system, the Multi-Control can also control infeed conveyors and other peripheral equipment. Conveyor run times, pause times, and overrun times can be individually configured and flexibly adapted to the respective process requirements.

The intuitive, colour touchscreen enables particularly easy operation and supports multiple languages. The operating status is displayed directly on the screen using colour coding. An optional external three-colour signal light can also be connected. This can be used, for example, to provide advance warnings when only one empty container remains available or when the last available container has reached a defined fill level. This helps to increase process reliability.

An integrated mushroom push button with emergency-stop function provides additional safety.

The Multi-Control offers a cost-effective alternative to complex PLC-based control systems while covering the essential functions required for buffer systems. The focus is on particularly easy operation, fast commissioning, and an attractive cost-benefit ratio.
