Linear buffer belt in a cleanroom (pharmaceuticals)
Task: Transport of plastic parts in containers in a cleanroom
Plastic parts should be transported directly from the injection molding machine into containers via a buffer belt.
The static charge of the parts should be dissipated.
The quantity per container can be entered using a counting control.
Cones of debris in the containers should be avoided.
Empty containers should be automatically provided at the filling station.
The system is to be installed in a cleanroom-like environment (controlled zone).
Solution: Buffer belt with FDA-compliant feed belt
A specially adapted feed conveyor transports the parts out of the machine.
Integration of an ionization device with its own fan to dissipate the static charge of the parts.
The conveyor belt is equipped with an FDA-approved running surface with longitudinal ribs to prevent relative movement between the conveyed material and the side guides.
A GL belt is designed accordingly (length, width, cleat spacing) as a buffer belt for the empty and filled containers.
The conveyor belt length can be adjusted to the customer's available space.
Optical sensors monitor the container positions and report when empty containers need to be pushed forward and/or full ones need to be removed.
Adjustable pre-action operation of the buffer belt to prevent pile cone formation
