Task: Buffering of steel parts for cooling

Steel parts should be buffered after a grinding process to cool down before the next processing step.

When buffering, it is essential to maintain the order of the subtasks (FI-FO principle).

The goal is to buffer 180 parts in a minimal space.

Multiplex turntable with attached polyester coating to reduce friction for storage operation

When parts are fed onto the rotary storage table from the center, they travel along the spiral to the outer edge and are accumulated there.

A stop is mounted at the end of the spiral, against which the parts can be accumulated. When the stop is opened, the parts can be removed manually.
