When it comes to maintaining the exact positional orientation of parts throughout the entire transport process, MD ST22 type curved belts are an ideal solution. Due to their minimum deflection diameter of just 8 mm, the belt curves easily handle even difficult transfer situations and can therefore also be used for transporting small items. The MD ST22 belt curves stand out in terms of their design, as the deflections are cylindrical, allowing for precise transfers. These curved belts are often an integral part of longer conveyor lines and are generally used in combination with other conveyors to connect different production or assembly areas. The basic body of each belt curve consists of a robust welded steel construction. (Optional in stainless steel). This guides a flexible plastic belt with mounted ball bearings, which is driven by friction wheels. Eight different conveyor belts from the MTF Technik standard range are available and can be mounted on the devices. Depending on the desired configuration and the specific task, belts made of PU, PVC, or felt can be used. Additional special belts can be provided if required. The MD ST22 type belt curves can be equipped with two different drive units, which, in combination with various gear ratios and controls, ensure optimal adaptation to the respective conveying task. Building on the basic configuration, special versions can be implemented as needed to solve specific requirements.
