Task: Plastic parts should be removed from the SGM and distributed into containers
Small plastic parts for electrical components are to be picked up on the operating side of an injection molding machine and distributed and buffered in containers
The system should be suitable for filling containers with three different dimensions (KLT 600x400x320mm, KLT 400x300x220mm, carton 379x210x140mm)
At selectable intervals, quality shots should be collected in separate containers 200x150x120mm
In the large containers, cones of material should be reduced as far as possible
Solution: Linear buffer with angled conveyor belt and roller conveyor, including 3-way switch for quality assurance
Use of an angled conveyor belt NL-HE 020 with PU running surface and corrugated edges including corrugated edge cover for parts guidance into the conveyor belt center and to prevent parts jamming
The conveyor belt is equipped with a PET cover on top in a combined pluggable/folding design
In addition, a transfer hood is installed at the belt outlet for parts routing into a pneumatic 3-way rotary shaft switch including a patented mechanism to prevent parts from jamming when small parts are used.
Two zones above the container buffer belt can be controlled via the rotary shaft switch. This allows for the material to be prevented from cones in the large containers or, optionally, distributed across two small containers in parallel.
The third outlet of the diverter is used to discharge the quality control parts. For this purpose, an I-Tech small conveyor belt is mounted parallel to the buffer system, on which the separate containers are provided and buffered.
