Robot feed conveyor for screw caps

Task: Feeding various closure caps to a packing robot

Lids of varying diameters produced by an injection molding machine are to be fed to a packaging robot.

The lids should be stacked according to a specific packing pattern.

Non-compliant parts should be diverted before reaching the robot.

The robot handles the plant control. A valve manifold is provided for MTF Technik.

Solution: Feed conveyor belt with accumulation and discharge device and buffer conveyor belt

A Multi-Tech conveyor belt type GL-AM 010 with adjustable side guide serves as a feed conveyor belt.

A stop with centering pins was provided at the outlet of the feed belt.

Additional installation of a pneumatic lid stopper and accumulation device for forming the packing scheme

In addition, a pneumatic rejection system for non-compliant parts was installed.

Cardboard buffer conveyor type GL-AM 010 including pneumatic positioning and singulation cylinders, including necessary sensors and control element

All electrical and pneumatic connections are mounted on the supplied valve manifold and controlled by the on-site robot control system.
