Vertical conveyor PLF special 90° (MedTech)

Task: Vertical transport of medical devices

Medical-grade plastic components must be transferred from a production plant and then conveyed vertically upwards to bridge a passageway.

At the end of the conveyor belt, the parts are to be conveyed via a pipe system to a subsequent plant.

The system must be operated in an ISO Class 8 cleanroom.

The parts are very delicate and must not be damaged during transport.

Solution: Vertical conveyor with cover and pipe system

Use of a space-saving vertical conveyor (type PLF-Sonder with 90° bend)

Integration of a special feed hopper, adapted to the transfer situation from the production machine

Stainless steel side guide plates with special mounting (without screw heads, without impact edges)

Equipped with a PET belt cover above the vertical conveyor.

Below the vertical conveyor (in the steep belt area) a belt cover made of anodized aluminum is installed.

Use of a Jacob pipe system for conveying parts to the downstream plant

Equipped with a special substructure to create a passageway
