In order to provide you with the correct parts quickly and accurately, we require the identification details on your MTF device. All necessary data can be found on the type plate, which is located near the respective drive. Please note that the serial number always refers to the original delivery condition of the device. Subsequent changes to the equipment, such as belts, are not included.
If you send components (e.g. controls, motors, etc.) or even complete devices (conveyor belts, separators, etc.) to MTF Technik for repair, we require the accompanying note for repairs - please fill it out completely. This makes it easier for us to assign the item to a process and speeds up the repair process.

What information do I need to order replacement parts?
The exact identification of the affected device is essential for the accurate delivery of replacement parts. All MTF products are delivered with a type plate, which is located near the drive.
This contains the device type, serial number, year of manufacture and other information. Ideally, MTF Technik should provide a photo of the type plate. This information allows us to identify the device without any doubt and offer the correct spare parts.
Which spare parts should be kept in stock for conveyor belts from MTF Technik?
Which spare parts should be kept in stock depends on the application. The more critical the device is for maintaining your own processes, the more necessary it is to stock appropriate spare parts. A conveyor belt in a central production disposal system is clearly more critical than a small machine discharge belt.
Typically, the "standard" spare and wear parts for a conveyor belt are limited. These are primarily the belts, drive components such as motors and controls or drive rollers, pinions and chains.
However, conveyor belts are always completely custom-made components that are not kept in stock and also require a certain amount of production time. Depending on how complex the belt is designed (number and type of cleats, corrugated edges, wedge strips, etc.), a replacement time of one to three weeks must be allowed for here alone due to process-related factors such as preparation times, bonding times, etc. For very critical conveyor systems, regular visual inspection of the belt is therefore essential. If wear becomes apparent, it is advisable to order a new belt. For very critical conveyor systems, it may even be advisable to keep a replacement belt in stock at all times. However, it should be noted that belts are subject to a certain degree of ageing and cannot be used indefinitely. Care must also be taken to ensure that they are stored correctly (in a dry, dark place).
For other components, MTF Technik has a wide range of spare parts in stock, meaning that many components such as motors, controls, rollers, etc. can be delivered directly from the warehouse. In an emergency, express deliveries can be organised or, for example, motors with a different gear ratio can be used temporarily. It is not always necessary to keep a spare parts package in stock.
Does MTF Technik also repair older devices?
We repair all MTF devices and also offer replacement parts. With very few exceptions, all replacement parts manufactured up to the year we were founded are still available, and we will carry out repairs on request.
Does MTF Technik also send technicians to customers for repairs?
In principle, yes. However, we carefully check in advance whether it would be cheaper to have the repair carried out at MTF Technik's factory. Especially for longer distances, it often makes sense to send the device to the factory for repair. Even in the case of more complex repairs (e.g. in connection with sheet metal work, etc.), it may be necessary to carry out the repair at the factory, as some work cannot be carried out on site at the customer's premises.
Are replacement parts still available for older devices from MTF Technik?
Yes. MTF Technik can supply spare parts for almost all manufactured devices – many even from stock. Only for some older separator attachments are various spare parts no longer available. In some cases, however, conversion kits are available so that older devices can be refurbished.
