Separating Drum Type 3 R5 B to 3 R12 B

With the newly developed rectangle drum Type 3R7 B MTF Technik once more proves its competence in the area of separation. The patented mechanism for preventing part jams makes this drum unique.

The MTF Rectangle Separating Drums, types 3 R5 B to 3 R12 B are used for an automatic separation of parts of different form and size. These drums are particularly suitable for soft, adherent parts which tend to stick together. In addition, parts with minimal difference in size can be separated. The patented mechanism for momentary opening of the separating gap effectively prevents deadlocks in the gaps.

After the patents for the separation drums with individual adjustment as well as the planet-central adjustment mechanism, MTF Technik envisions a further novelty with the patented rectangle drum. The rectangle drum uses separation vents opened by an innovative mechanism defined in the upper area of the drum.
